HardwarePilot can reason about project source, native configuration, diagnostics and attached hardware evidence. Use a contextual Ask AI action instead of manually copying an unlabeled value into chat. For register questions, attach the device description and ask for citations. For SDK questions, point to the installed headers or source. For board wiring, attach the schematic or explicit board configuration; a chip datasheet cannot establish how your board is wired.

Review the response

Check that hardware-specific claims identify their source and apply to the exact device/revision. Distinguish documented facts from deductions and measured values. If evidence is missing, the correct next step is retrieval or a clarifying measurement. Review proposed source edits in the diff and validate them with a build/test or hardware experiment. Do not accept a plausible register address, alternate function or initialization sequence solely because the model sounds confident. Stable project/device context can be reused efficiently, while selections and live observations change per question. Cached context must not survive a target/configuration change as if it described the new hardware. Grounding and retrieval checks reduce unsupported claims; they do not create a mathematical guarantee of zero hallucinations.
