Other vendor SDKs and proprietary IDEs - Prescaler

NXP, TI, Microchip, Renesas, Silicon Labs and proprietary compiler ecosystems can differ in project schema, code generation, licensing and debug protocol. A generic CMake/Make export may be usable even when its native managed project is not integrated.

Adoption procedure

Confirm the native project builds with the supported vendor toolchain outside Prescaler.
Use a documented export/build interface where available; do not rewrite generated configuration blindly.
Supply the real compilation database and headers for editor support.
Validate image format, linker output and debug symbols.
Verify flash/debug support separately for the exact probe and device.

Do not interpret an SVD match or a visible probe model as complete support. If a required native operation has no adapter, retain the vendor tool for that operation and report the project format and command contract needed. NXP tools · Microchip MPLAB
