Use the project shell for native SDK commands and diagnostics.

Before you start

A working shell and the SDK environment required by the command.

Workflow

Open Terminal in the project directory. Check the active SDK/tool versions before invoking vendor tools. Keep native command output when reproducing an IDE operation.

Interpret the result

Shell startup configuration can differ from the environment inherited by IDE processes. Repair tool discovery instead of assuming both environments are identical. For an unexplained result, preserve the source/configuration and observation together. Use Diagnose a failure to turn it into a reproducible investigation. Check support boundaries before assuming a vendor-specific operation is implemented.
